"Escribo en español" is a contest organized by the California Department of Education and the Consulate of Spain to motivate teenagers to get involved in learning language and culture early in their lives.
The contest is open to students who are Spanish speakers or those who are learning Spanish as a foreign language. Each category has 3 winners and 4 finalists.
Interested students received handouts with rules and the application cover page during class today, October 22nd. If you would like more information regarding this contest please see Ms. Bojorquez in room 8 during lunch on Mondays and Thursdays, or after school in MAC A on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Contest winners will win: Round trip tickets, tuition, lodging, meals and cultural activities.
DEADLINE: JANUARY 6th. Papers must be submitted to your Spanish teacher.
